Strength isn’t just about lifting heavy; it’s about moving well, feeling grounded in your body, and building trust in what you can do. Our weight training sessions are designed to support functional strength, confidence, and long-term resilience; whether you’re brand new to strength work or looking to train smarter as you move through midlife and beyond. With options for all levels and bodies, we focus on real-life strength that carries over into how you move, live and feel every day. Whether you're training for a 10-mile run, lifting your suitcase up a hill, or simply want to feel more like yourself again, my approach to fitness meets you exactly where you are and grows with you.

I will create a personalised training plan based on your goals, movement patterns, and lifestyle. We will work through three progressive stages that build real strength and confidence, without burnout or injury.

Strength starts here

  • Strength Foundations

    Start and build smart.
This is your starting point if you’re new to strength training or returning after a break, whether due to injury, time away, or life’s shifting seasons. We focus on proper form, breath awareness, and progressive strength-building to help you feel safe, capable, and supported every step of the way. Sessions begin by building stability and alignment; improving joint support, posture, and correcting muscle imbalances, so you can move with greater confidence and reduced risk of injury. You’ll receive expert guidance, thoughtfully structured full-body programming, and a pace that truly meets you where you are.

  • Stronger Together

Driven by Motivation, Supported by Accountability, United in Community.
Train alongside others in a supportive, high-energy space where strength meets community. These small group sessions blend mobility, functional conditioning, and progressive strength work; perfect if you're looking for variety, challenge and a little fun along the way. Each class is thoughtfully tailored for different levels, so you’ll feel seen, encouraged and empowered to grow. As we move forward, the focus shifts to building lean muscle, boosting stamina and toning your body; always with an emphasis on proper form and smart, sustainable training. No high-impact moves or punishing routines; just effective workouts that leave you feeling strong, not depleted.

  • Strength for Life

Train with your future in mind.
Designed for midlife and beyond, these sessions centre strength training as a key tool for hormone balance, bone density, and everyday resilience. We lift with intention; supporting your energy, metabolism, and confidence through every phase of life. Once your body is moving well, we introduce more dynamic, strength-based movements to increase energy, build resilience and help you move through life with more ease and confidence; whether that’s carrying heavy groceries or climbing stairs without a second thought.

BEGINNERS

I wasn’t always confident in the gym or studio; I remember exactly what it felt like to be new. The confusion, the fast-paced instructions, the feeling that everyone else knew what they were doing… it can be intimidating, especially when you're just starting out.

That’s why I create a space where beginners feel supported, not overwhelmed. My sessions are designed to take things step by step, focusing on:

  • Clear, encouraging instruction

  • Safe, effective technique

  • A strong foundation you can build on

You will develop the confidence to train at home, in the gym, or join a class, knowing your body is ready and you understand how to move it well. Because once you feel that strength building from the inside out, it changes everything.

WOMEN OVER 40

As a woman in my 50s, I have experienced firsthand the physical and hormonal shifts that come with this stage of life. When your body starts responding differently, it can feel frustrating; routines that once worked suddenly fall flat. You may find yourself dealing with unrelenting fatigue, stubborn weight gain, disrupted sleep and a sense that your body is no longer working with you.

These changes are often driven by fluctuations in key hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone; all of which can impact your energy, metabolism, mood, muscle mass and ability to recover. That’s why the old “just push harder” mindset often backfires. Overtraining or under-recovering can elevate cortisol (your stress hormone), compounding fatigue and making progress even harder to come by. You might find yourself:

  • Gaining weight despite regular workouts

  • Feeling exhausted or “wired but tired”

  • Battling brain fog, insomnia, or mood changes

  • Wondering why your body feels unfamiliar

I have been there and it’s exactly why I changed how I train, both for myself and for the women I work with.

Here’s how we adapt your training to work with your changing body, not against it:
Gentle on joints, kind to your nervous system
Muscle-building strength work to support metabolism and protect bone density
Smarter, not harder workouts designed to energise, not deplete you

We take a sustainable, hormone-aware approach that helps lower cortisol, build strength and reconnect you to your body in a whole new way.

It’s never too late to feel strong, empowered and at ease in your body.

Let’s build a plan that honours where you are and where you want to go.

Here’s how we work with your body, not against it:

  • Low-impact, joint-friendly movement to reduce injury risk and support recovery

  • Strength training to counteract muscle loss, support bone health, and boost metabolism

  • Workouts that balance the nervous system—lowering stress, lifting energy, and helping you sleep better

You’re not imagining it: what used to work might not anymore. But that doesn’t mean it’s game over; it just means your training needs to evolve.

If you're feeling sluggish, foggy, or frustrated by your body despite doing "all the right things," you're not alone and there is a better way forward.
