Refine your teaching voice

A supportive space for yoga teachers who want to refine their teaching, deepen their confidence and develop with greater clarity.

Teaching yoga can sometimes feel surprisingly solitary. After initial training, many teachers are left to work things out on their own — shaping classes, finding their voice, managing nerves, refining sequencing and learning through trial and error. Mentorship offers a space to bring all of that into clearer focus.

This is a one-to-one mentoring space for teachers who want thoughtful guidance on the practical, professional and more nuanced aspects of teaching. Whether you are newly qualified, returning after time away, preparing for auditions, refining a class style or wanting to feel more confident in how you hold the room, sessions are tailored to where you are and what you need.

Areas of support may include:

  • sequencing and class structure

  • cueing, pacing and use of language

  • finding your authentic teaching voice

  • teaching confidence and presence

  • audition preparation

  • holding space and reading the room

  • refining specific class formats

  • integrating philosophy, breathwork or meditation appropriately

  • feedback on teaching videos or written class plans

  • returning to teaching after a break

The aim is not to create a copy of someone else’s teaching, but to help you become clearer, steadier and more skilful in your own.

Mentorship can be offered as:

  • a one-off session

  • short-term support around a specific goal

  • ongoing development over a number of sessions
